Before I begin, I wanted to tell you about this amazing work at home mom blog that I just came across...http://juliaweekly.blogspot.com/

It's packed with lots of practical advice on keeping your business doors open, while working from home, as well as ideas for marketing on a budget...if you've been in business for a while, and just don't seem to be making progress, drop by her blog site, for a new perspective; fresh and timely marketing advice...and she has a really cool list of places to get advertising for next to nothing!

Now, here's today's recipe.

Lemon Chocolate POPS that kids can make for themselves!

12 oz lemon or strawberry banana yogurt, blended,

(Moms, you may substitute your child's favorite flavor yogurt.)

4 - 6 small daisy cups (type you use in bathroom dispenser)

Nonstick spray

1/2 cup M&M's or chocolate coated peanuts, crushed

4 -6 Ice cream sticks; you can get these cheap in your craft store or any online craft store

Lightly spray the inside of the clean dixie paper cups (non-stick styrofoam paper cups are fine) with nonstick spray. This will make it easier for the Lemon Yogurt POP to slide out when frozen.

Blend yogurt and crush chocolate bits.

Spoon yogurt/chocolate mixture into containers, about 3/4 full.

Top each cup with a small square of aluminum foil...enough to completely cover the cup opening...poke a small hole into the tinfoil and insert the icecream stick.

Now, return to freezer and freeze completely.

Serve immediately..or save and let the kids help themselves later to a healthy afternoon snack!

Yummy, delicious late summer treats!

And be sure to visit my site daily for new recipes, cooking tips, baking ideas, home made icecream, cakes, soups and stews and more!

Plus, I am getting some new Cajun dishes in soon...so that's something I look forward to sharing with you!

Taste Sensations!
